The Shape of a Minute
A group exhibition with Alli Conrad, Casey Baden, Jesse Zuo and Natalia González Martín, curated by Betsy Reid Willett
OPENING RECEPTION: FRIDAY AUGUST 22. 2025. TIME: 16.00 - 21.00
EXHIBITION PERIOD: AUGUST 23. – SEPTEMBER 27. 2025.
Minutes endlessly knit together, at once remarkable and yet the most quotidian act: time moving forward. The Shape of a Minute explores the momentary shapes left behind by the body, domestic items and body language. Fabric momentarily holds a human imprint before taking on its next shape. This exhibition explores the narrative in momentary shapes, internal spaces, and intimacy as well as the materiality of fabric and fabric in painting.
